Join us beginning October 31, 2022 for Preserving Heritage Collections, a foundation course for collection care. If you are not already familiar with preservation principles you should take this course before taking any other collection care subject. These principles are also applied in Facilities Management courses ranging from Integrated Pest Management to Keeping Historic Houses & Museums Clean to Emergency Preparedness.
This course will explore why collections deteriorate and look at specific every day examples. We will examine risks to collections and discuss strategies to address those challenges.
